June is for Juggling

JMxMM Lead

In case you haven’t heard, I’m a momma again. I have a rosy cheeked, fluffy haired, dream baby who thus far, is all sugar and no spice.

Keeping Up with June

In some ways this phase feels familiar, the unspeakably tiny diapers, the sleep deprivation, the strange, sweet snuffles and balled up baby fists are all the same as they were the first time around, but my world is vastly different. I have a wild three year-old to contend with, a newly renovated house that is less than baby proofed, jewelry to think up, and a business to run. June has been all juggling and it’s a wonder I’ve been able to (kind of) keep up.

January Moon Features in Oh Joy!

The very morning dear Delaney Bee was born, my favorite bloggess/designer/artsy mama, Joy Cho, featured January Moon on her legendary lifestyle blog (!!!)

Oh Joy! has been my internet home-away-from-home for years. It is a place where color, shape, curiosity, and fun are embraced with arms wide open and it reminds everyone who crosses its beautiful path to be bright, bold, and fearlessly themselves. I’m not gonna lie, seeing Joy in our White necklace was a bit like seeing my name in lights 🙂

A week later, she shared the January Moon love with her wonderful staff and included our sweet Buttercup mini in a “Dressing the Team” post! Pinch me!

Porter Flea Summer Market

There isn’t much better than being recognized by the artists you admire, except maybe working with them. My dear friends at Morton & Mabel will be hosting some January Moon goodies at Porter Flea Summer Market and unveiling our new COLLABORATION! Surprise!

I’ve waxed poetic about Morton & Mabel clothing before and we all know I’ll do it again. It is magical, modern, made to last, and I simply can’t get enough. They have been my muse on more than one occasion before but it was nice to make it official this time 🙂 I’m a little sad I can’t be at the market to show off our JM x MM love children in person but I will surely be there in spirit.

I had envisioned walking slowly and tenderly through this new season of life but because the best laid plans of moms almost always go awry, there has been nothing slow about it. The past couple of weeks have been a messy, blurry, cyclonic haze but they have brought with them more happiness than I ever could have hoped for.

To all of you who have reached out with your well wishes, thank you! Delaney, Shep, Mike, and I are so lucky to have you on our side.

XO Jenny
